It complies with the IEEE802.11g and IEEE802.11b standards and support wireless data transfer rate up to 54Mbps. WP440G is fully backwards compatible with all 802.11b products and it features WPA and 802.1X for wireless user authentication, providing a higher level of security than the standard 64/128-bit WEP encryption. At 5 times faster speed of the 802.11b wireless adapters, WP440G allows you to stay continuously connected to your Local Area Network without any wires.
