Audio-wise, the system is equipped with a powerful digital amplifier, two specially engineered, 3-inch, full-range neodymium drivers, and two 1-inch silk- dome tweeters, all of which combine to deliver a full spectrum of pure, distinct sound. The resulting frequency range extends from 60 Hz to 20 kHz, an impressive performance for such a compact system. The unit also produces surprisingly deep bass thanks to the XdB bass-enhancement technology.
At the center of the M602 sits a universal dock that amplifies, recharges, and syncs your iPod while you listen. Simply drop your "dockable" iPod inside--the system is built for the iPod 3G, iPod 4G, iPod photo, iPod video, iPod mini, and iPod nano--and you're set. In addition, owners of older iPods or other MP3 players can use the system as well, as the M602 comes with a universal MP3 cradle and an auxiliary input. The cradle fits inside the universal dock for easy front and center storage. Perhaps the handiest feature, however, is the wireless remote, which lets you control the iPod and speaker functions from a distance.
