The Honeywell TE601CELW Color Weather Forecaster with Atomic Clock features a colorful animated forecast that will add a new dimension to any environment. Sun, clouds, rain and other weather conditions are displayed in a color window at the top of the display unit. In addition to the unique weather forecasting, this weather forecaster also provides indoor and outdoor temperature, barometric information and atomic time.
With the main display unit measuring 2.79 x 7.08 x 2.79 inches (WxHxD), the TE601CELW can monitor temperatures for up to three remote locations. The clock includes one TS13C sensor that has a wireless transmission range of approximately 100 feet (unobstructed). Additional sensors are sold separately.
Featuring an atomic clock that never needs resetting, the time updates automatically within the continental U.S. via a radio signal transmitted from Fort Collins, Colorado, adjusting the clock to within one second of official government standards. The atomic clock even adjusts for Daylight Savings Time. The Honeywell animated weather forecaster includes a numeric barometric pressure display reading; manual altitude adjustment; backlighting for easy night viewing and a programmable ice warning alarm for Channel 1. Other features include a dual crescendo alarm with snooze function, minimum and maximum temperature memory, and an enhanced blue backlighting for easy night viewing. When the remote sensor is powered by two AA alkaline batteries, the unit has an outside temperature range of minus 4 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit, and minus 38 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit if lithium batteries are used. For humidity monitoring, the clock has an indoor and outdoor range of 25 to 90 percent. (The two AA batteries required for the sensor are not included. The main unit is powered by an included AC adapter or two AA batteries that are not included.)
