The Beltronics STi is a powerful radar and laser detector with best-in-class detection, easy-to-use controls and features, TotalShield RF Technology for the ultimate in undetectability, and a wealth of premium accessories included. It is ready to use right out of the box with Beltronics' recommended factory settings. Spend more time driving and less time worrying with the STi at your side.
Rugged and Usable
The STi's rugged magnesium case means solid protection for your investment. The coiled and direct-wire SmartPlugs provide a convenient mute button on your plug, for quickly muting alerts. The ultra-bright 280-LED alphanumeric display is easy to read from any angle, and gives you the information you need, from radar and laser alerts (the display provides actual numeric radar frequency for any radar signal along with visual indication of alerts) to Safety Warning System (SWS) messages about upcoming hazards, construction and more. Easy-to-use programming lets you customize up to 9 features, including programmable bands, SWS on/off, and more.
Best-in-Class Detection
The STi Driver includes full X, K, SuperWide Ka, and Safety Warning System radar capability, front and rear laser detection, Beltronics' patented Mute and AutoMute, audible and visual band alerts, and all the performance you'd expect from Beltronics.
Dual LNA (low noise amplifier) microwave receivers mean you'll get the longest possible warning against all radar threats. Advanced AutoScan processing and digital signal processing (DSP) give you superior range and reduce false alarms to virtually zero. The internal speaker will alert you even in loud vehicles, and high and low voltage warnings are given any time the vehicle's voltage drops below 10.5 volts, or goes above 16.5 volts.

Beltronics' TotalShield RF Technology provides the ultimate in undetectability. The exclusive technology makes the top-of-the-line Beltronics STi Driver detector invisible to radar detector detectors, including the latest technologies like VG-2 and Spectre. You can also dim or turn off the STi's LED display to keep it out of sight.
How TotalShield Technology Works
Beltronics' TotalShield Technology keeps RF signals from radiating from the detector. Unlike other radar and laser detectors, which merely move their RF signals (local oscillators) to another frequency (which will be detectable by future detector-detectors), this revolutionary design keeps you unseen by current radar detector-detectors, including VG-2 and Spectre. This unique design will also keep you unseen from any future radar detector detectors as well.
How Safety Radar Works
Safety Warning System, or SWS, uses a modified K-band radar signal to alert users of Highway Construction or Maintenance, Highway Hazard Zone Advisories, Weather Related Hazards, Travel Information/Convenience, and Fast/Slow Moving Vehicles. The SWS safety radar system has 64 possible messages (60 currently allocated), all of which can be displayed on your STi.
