Uniden's EXAI-7248i cordless phone combines 2.4 GHz signal operation with caller ID/call-waiting compatibility and an integrated digital answering system. The handset features a three-line backlit LCD, allowing easy access to the 30-name-and-number log. Menus and caller information are displayed in your choice of English, French, or Spanish. Other features include last number redial, handset locator, and 10 programmable speed dial locations.
The EXAI7248i's base unit houses an integrated digital answering system. Messages can be accessed directly through the base using convenient control buttons with help from convenient voice prompts. Messages can also be retrieved from other locations around the house using the handset, or through remote retrieval when you're away from home. The phone features a new message alert indicator with an optional audible alert tone, hearing aid compatibility for the hearing impaired, and headset compatibility for hands-free operation (headset sold separately). It comes complete with two belt-clips included and is backed by a one-year warranty.
