Product Description
The RS485 feature gives the user the ability to add an additional 31 remote security devices to their system. The interface allows these devices (card readers, keypads, radio receivers, etc) to be installed in series up to 4000 feet away from the processor. By inserting the RS485 activation card (available in 4k, 8k, or 16k sizes), the internal RS485 board is activated and ready to use.
