Product Description
Monitor temperatures indoors and out minus the hassle of attaching cables with this wireless weather forecasting station from Chaney Instruments. Equipped with an atomic clock, the device automatically sets the time, month, date, and year, which means no more resetting when the power goes out or manually adjusting for Daylight Savings Time. The main unit sets up on its integrated stand or mounts easily to any wall and can receive weather data from up to 3 sensors (other 2 sold separately). With it in a prominent location inside the house, you'll easily monitor how cold the pipes are getting in the basement, how humid it is in the baby's room, or how hot it is in the greenhouse.
While the main unit displays indoor temperatures from 32 to 122 degrees F, the outdoor sensor transmits temperature readings between -4 and 122 degrees F, sending data back to the main unit from up to 100 feet away. Easy to read from across the room but designed to not take up too much space on the desktop or kitchen windowsill, the main console measures just 9 by 7 by 1-1/2 inches (w x h x d). The remote sensor measures 2-1/2 by 3-1/2 by 1 inches (w x h x d), and also displays temperatures in bold, easy-to-read digits. More great features: an temperature alarm let's you know when temperatures have breached ranges set by you; an atomic alarm clock with snooze means your always on time; a temperature trend display with weather forecasting icons lets you know what's ahead weather-wise: rain, clouds, or sun.
