Keep an eye on the time at home and on the road and stay abreast of temperatures indoors and out with this clock combo and wireless remote thermometer from La Crosse Technology. The combo consists of two atomic clocks, one displaying temperatures indoors and out when receiving data transmissions from the included wireless remote temperature sensor, and another clock with a compact design that's great for travel. The remote, wireless temperature sensor sets up quickly in the garden, greenhouse, garage or baby's room for easy monitoring of temperatures there.
Both clocks receive signals from the U.S. Atomic Clock, setting automatically for accurate time and adjusting for Daylight Savings Time where applicable. Displaying indoor temperature, day, and date in large, easy-to-read digits, the clocks are equipped with alarms and easy-access snooze buttons. An EL backlight on the clocks offers clear nighttime readings. A handy folding case for the travel alarm is great for the road. The system records minimum and maximum temperatures, displayed with the touch of a button. Temperature displays in either Fahrenheit or Celsius, with time shown in either 12- or 24-hour modes. The larger clock measures 3-3/4 by 4-1/2 by 1-3/4 inches and requires 2 AA alkaline batteries. The travel alarm measures 2.61 by 0.98 by 3.74 inches and packs away easily in carryon luggage when you're on the move.
