The iHome iH7B Dual Alarm Clock and Radio for iPods (Black) is the perfect alarm clock and radio for iPod owners. This stylish clock radio not only allows you to listen to your favorite iPod music through a home stereo system, but lets you wake up gradually and go to sleep gently to the sounds of your favorite tunes, AM/FM radio, or a buzzer.
The iHome iH7B lets you listen to your music while charging your iPod by docking it in the alarm clock station, which features a sleek, low-profile design that can easily fit anywhere in your room. This unit wakes you up to your choice of gently increasing music, radio, or a buzzer sound, and features an alarm reset function that shuts off the alarm while automatically resetting it for the same time the following day. As additional backup, there is a dual alarm for days you like to sleep in a little longer, and a function whereby even if the alarm is set to music, if none is detected from your iPod the alarm will automatically trip the buzzer so you are sure to wake up on time. The sleep timer function is programmable for a 90, 60, 30, or 15-minute countdown, works with iPod music as well as your AM/FM radio, and even features an adjustable sleep volume that lets you select a comfortable sleep volume level without affecting the wake-to or listening volume levels.
The iHome iH7B has a built-in, extra-large backlit LCD display for navigating through radio stations, displaying your iPod's current song information, or just giving you the time in either 12 or 24-hour mode. This unit has built-in, automatic frequency control (AFC) for enhanced FM reception, an external AM antenna for best-possible AM reception, and PLL (phase locked loop) digital radio tuning. The iH7B's clock has time and date preset at the factory, allows you to adjust the preset time to any of seven different time zones at the touch of a button, and includes a DST switch for a quick daylight-savings time adjustment. Even though the alarm and time settings easy to adjust, this unit features a sure-alarm battery backup (battery included) that maintains your clock settings, and ensures your alarm will still work in case of a power outage. As if that wasn't convenient enough, this iHome clock radio comes with a remote control (battery included) that lets you control all its major functions from a convenient distance.
The iHome iH7B uses high-fidelity stereo speakers in specially designed, isolated speaker chambers to deliver astounding clarity, depth and power, on top of which this system comes with an extra extension speaker for expanded stereo sound that really rocks in your bedroom, or any other room in the house. This unit includes an auxiliary line-in jack with a patch cord for hooking up other MP3 players or audio devices, is powered by the included AC power adapter, and is able to charge both your iPod and your iPod shuffle simultaneously thanks to its unique docking insert. In addition to the dual iPod and iPod shuffle charging insert, this iHome clock radio includes adjustable inserts that let it work with all dockable iPod models, from the video to the Nano.
