The Cobra Automatic Ring Light Macro Flash is the convenient and creative lighting solution for copying documents, medical, dental, nature and small subject photography at short working distances where built-in and conventional flash units are hard to use. Utilizing a circular tube as its light source for just the right amount of illumination, in certain situations, it might even be the only way possible to light your subject. Specifically designed to securely mount to the filter ring of your macro lens and to provide even, shadow free light at close working distances, it will also freeze action so that a frisky beetle or windblown blossom can be photographed as if it were frozen in time. When required, it can also be used off of the lens and aimed, for creative lighting control or when shadow free images are not desired. Unlike other ring lights that require a bulky and heavy power supply to be mounted to your camera's hot shoe, the Macro Flash is self contained and economically and efficiently powered by only two AA size alkaline, NiCad or NiMH batteries. You don't even have to remember to turn the flash off as Auto-Off circuitry is built-in to prolong battery life. ♦
This flash adapter is specially designed to connect all standard shoe flashes to the proprietary Sony Alpha / Minolta Maxxum hot shoes. This will allow you to accept any flash or accessory having a standard shoe. This adapter is fully compatible to work with all Sony Alpha & Konica Minolta Maxxum SLR Cameras. It also provides a standard PC connection similar to the more expensive Sony FAST1AM Sony Sync Terminal Adapter and Konica Minolta Maxxum FS-1100 PLUS. With this adapter, you can expand your choice of flashes & accessories for your Sony Alpha / Minolta cameras.
