Simple plug-and-play connectivity makes this USB to IrDA network adapter an easy choice for transferring information quickly from a laptop to a PC at rates of up 4 Mbps (500 KB/s). Data is transferred using infrared optical transmission for a completely secure network with little to no data encryption needed. The IrDA adapter is compatible with all devices equipped with infrared data transfer ports including cell phones, digital cameras, laptops, and IrDA equipped printers. Specifications: Backwards compatible with USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 Compliant with IrDA 1.3 specification Supported data transfer rates: 2.4-115.2 Kbps (SIR mode), 576-1.152 Mbps (MIR mode) and 4 Mbps (FIR mode) Kit includes adapter, 3 ft.
